As always, check my regular blog or my twitter if you’re into all-the-time updates.  A few updates: 1. playing Soundset ‘09 on Sunday 5/24 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN; w/ Atmosphere, the Pharcyde, MF DOOM, Brother Ali, Freeway and many more. 2. I won the St. Paul Grand Poetry Slam, and will be competing at this year’s National Poetry Slam in West Palm Beach, Florida in August. 3. Hip Hop Against Homophobia June 13 at the Bedlam Theater in Minneapolis and June 27 at the Depot in Hopkins (I’ll be out of town for the first, but playing the second w/ Big Cats!). 4. Going to be in Chicago from 7/14-7/19 coaching the MN youth poetry slam team at Brave New Voices.  Lots of traveling in general this summer.  5. Look out for some big articles from me over at Culture Bully.  6. Big thanks to everyone who came to the “Start a Fire” EP release party this month.  The EP should be on ITunes soon; in the meantime, come to a show and get one.  “An Unwelcome Guest” coming soon!  7. Big Ups to Big Quarters, Toki Wright, Maria Isa, See More Perspective and everyone releasing good music this Spring/Summer.
